We would give anything to go back to those years, look at the glowing stars in our ceilings and exchange silly bands with our friends once more. That said, some of the things in these pictures should never come back. That “Perfection” is probably the reason I still can’t sleep well at night.
Travelling is quite expensive nowadays, so it's better to save a few bucks by travelling to the past, instead of a fancy vacation hotel. Picture this: you’re coming home from school, the sun is still out, you’re drinking your leftover Capri Sun, listening to some perfect tunes on your MP3, while thinking about which DVD film you’re going to play once you get home. Maybe you’ll even enjoy a quick slideshow with the new master your parents gave you for Christmas. Nothing better than that.

Things have changed in the last 26 years, but deep down there is still a part of you that deeply enjoys all of these. Who said you can’t come back to the things that made you happy once? My suggestion: dust off that one drawer that keeps all your memories saved. Invite a childhood friend over and happily jump on memory lane, reminiscing about all the adventures you started together as kids. A friendly round of trying to figure out how Minesweeper actually works every now and then hurts nobody.
How I see it, all these games and experiences have passed the test of time with flying colours. So, next time a kid tells you they’re glad to have TikTok, show them what a glue stick and a sketch doodle board can really do. The bottom line is: happiness comes in many boxes, especially those filled with old crayons.
